5. Durability tests
Performance deterioration must be within 30% (leak may be 18mmHg/min) after each of the following tests.  Perfor- mance is measured two hours after returned to room temperature (20℃ to 27℃) from the following temperature involved tests.
Low temperature: Leave the pump in -20℃ atmosphere for 72 hours and return to room temperature.
High temperature: Leave the pump in +60℃ atmosphere for 72 hours and return to room temperature.
High temp. & humidity: Leave the pump in +60℃ & 95%RH for 72 hours and return to room temperature.
Temp. & humidity cycle: (-20℃ for two hours -- +25℃ for an hour -- +60℃ & 85%RH for two hours -- +25℃ for an hour) X 12 cycle and return to room temp.
Standard cycle life: 100,000 cycles of pressurizing test from 0 to 300mmHg.  One cycle consists of pressurization, pressure release and several seconds rest time.
6. Recommended installation & examples
Wrap with a piece of soft polyurethane and fix it inside the device used.  If a metal binder is used, bind around the motor.
Most preferably horizontal.  If vertical, motor side down.
7. Caution
Do not block the air intake port. Minimum opening must be 1.0mm. If a filter is used, avoid close mesh for possible pump damage.
Soldering should be less than 3 seconds at or below 300℃.
Do not press the terminals into the motor.
Positive power to positive mark for wiring.
Solvent may damage plastic parts.  Oil & fat, some types of chemicals or plasticizer possibly contained in rubber or silicone tubes may also damage plastic parts.
Pressure range & time used affect on pump life.  Avoid much higher or lower pressure than normal range and restless use.
Avoid long period of "shelf time" to keep the best perfor- mance.
8. Packaging
One carton contains 250pcs.  Pump model, lot number(s) and quantity are shown on a side face of each carton.
Packaged carton is tested for damage free by dropping at 1m height.  Once against a corner, twice against edges and three times against faces.
9. Possible modification
If any change, addition or elimination is necessary, OKEN shall ask for approval before implementation of such modification.
